Just thought this might be a place to get the answer to a question that's really bothering me. I've downloaded all of Shaider from here, in the order published on the site. But I got to around Episode 35, and made a startling discovery: the episodes for some reason seem "out of order".
Here's some conflicting evidence to consider: 1) every place I find a listing of episodes, the titles match. 2) every place I see a list of monsters, the monster's appearance episode is listed 3) 1 and 2 often don't match the way they should.
For example, (small spoilers, you've been warned) The episode "Kublai's Secret" happens in the file labeled Episode 25. A later episode references this in its narration, that being Episode 35 (according to the file name), where they act on the reveal like it just happened. But in the episode list, those two episodes are supposedly AIRED as Episode 34 and 35 consecutively, which makes sense thematically.
Yet on the monster list, the monster from the "25" I watched actually appeared at 25, and the one from "35" appears in the correct place.
This is just one example of many that seem to be out of order, so all I have to ask is why? Does anyone know the story behind such a large discrepancy?
Since this happened before Internet, I suspect research can only turn up so much, but it's a little disconcerting for me. Any detailed answer is appreciated. If nothing else, we can guess and have fun about it! lol

Not sure how to edit previous posts, or I would put it above. It doesn't help that Shaider is the only show I can remember in toku that doesn't have some kind of next episode preview, so no help from that typical source either.
